Please note: Prior to course registration, students must complete Active Threat Response Training annually. The training takes about 15 minutes to complete, and you can access it here:* https://lsscstudents-fl.safecolleges.com/courses/details/7CBF38DA-B12F-11F1-A0F2-8DFFCCB9496F  

This training is mandatory for all LSSC students enrolled in credit and non-credit courses per Florida House Bill 757 - Active Response and Mitigation of On-Campus Risks (ARMOR) Act. 

At Lake-Sumter State College, your success, safety, and sense of belonging matter to us. This mandatory training will provide you with proper response actions to an active threat scenario. The training provides practical guidance to help students understand their options and make informed decisions to protect themselves and others during an emergency. 

We encourage you to remember the Run, Hide, Fight model and be prepared to make informed decisions in an emergency. 

*Please allow 3-5 minutes after completing your training for the hold to be lifted from your account and complete your registration.
